Kat & Nate | Florida Keys Maternity
I have been friends with Kat since college, when Kat and I were in the same sorority. Then we got boyfriends (now husbands) who we forced to hangout with each other, but they have since become the best of friends. When Kat and Nate said they would be having their baby-moon in the Florida Keys and wanted some maternity pictures, I knew I needed to meet them down there to make that happen!
We found a beautiful little beach park, Sunset Park, in Marathon Florida. It was tiny, but it gave us the perfect backdrop for maternity pictures. There was a ton of variety, like the driftwood. Would you imagine that warm dreamy driftwood beach area was actually under that big green bush?! We did have to do an odd squat and waddle to get under there, but oh man it was worth it!
Kat and Nate's neutral outfits worked well with the different backgrounds we used. Can you believe Nate found Kat's dress on sale for three dollars? Yep, three bucks! I love that he found her dress, it just shows how much Nate loves Kat.
Speaking of love, the love between these two parents-to-be shone through the entire shoot. The way they interacted and looked at each other with such care and affection. I'm so glad they soaked in each moment as a family of two before their new budle of joy arrives! I can't wait to watch their family grow!
