I enjoy capturing memories for all my clients, especially for those I have known for a long time! The Morris family and I go back over a decade, so I was super excited when they reached out to me about family pictures!

We met at Shawnee Mission Park for some lovely outdoor scenery. Shawnee Mission Park is pretty big and has tons of spots to have pictures taken at. There are lots of trails, docks on the lake, fields, benches, a variety of trees, and fun little bridges. The area around shelter one was the best spot for us. You don't have to walk far from the parking lot to the cute little pond with these beautiful trees. 

The Morrises were up for anything I asked them to do, which was great because I loved being able to mix up things up from the standard posed family pictures. Walking, hugging, running together, as well as sitting on a bench were all fun ways to create some variety. I also enjoy family pictures because you can have everyone in the picture, just parents, just kids, or another combination. 

We enjoyed catching up and having fun in the summer heat. We were able to create and capture some wonderful memories!
